Vantage is owned by H.I.G. Capital with a minority investment by The Jordan Company. This strong financial backing provides Vantage access to capital to fuel its investment and growth.

Oleochemicals - First Vantage Site
Oleochemical manufacturing, formerly a Croda and UniQema site, becomes the first Vantage site, with headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.

Specialty Alkoxylates - Lambent Petroferm
Specialty alkoxylates, esters and surface treatment products are added, through acquisition of Lambent Petroferm, based in Gurnee, Illinois.
2010
Personal Care - Lipo Chemicals
Personal Care becomes a key focus for Vantage through the acquisition of Lipo Chemicals, headquarterd in Paterson New Jersey, with 17 global commercial locations.
2012
Desert Whale
A leadership position in jojoba oil and derivatives is established through the acquisition of Desert Whale Jojoba and its farm in Arizona and production facility in Tucson, Arizona.
2013
Kosher Glycerin Refinery Added
A Kosher glycerin refinery is added to our Chicago facility, adding food-grade glycerin to our product offering.

Fatty Acid Separation Facility
A Fatty Acid separation facility is added to our Chicago site, significantly increasing our oleic acid capacity.
